We recommend not pulling loose ends instead clip with scissors to remove. Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish with regular vacuuming. To prevent dust from settling into your rug, vacuum regularly and/or shake. Do not use a rotating brush roll or brush attachment. Keep away from excessive moisture. Blot spills immediately with a white cloth. Professional rug cleaning recommended as needed. Harsh chemicals may damage or fade rug. Use rug protectors under heavy furniture.
What is the best way to clean my rug?
We recommend professional cleaning or spot cleaning. When spot cleaning, getting it while it is still wet is crucial. Make sure to blot, starting outside of the stain and working inward. This helps to prevent the spread. Cold water works very well, so always try this first. Begin by blotting with water and then blotting with a towel to dry.
Do rugs require a rug pad?
Rug pads are recommended, as they can extend the life and condition of your floor covering. Typically, the thickness of the rug determines which type of pad you should use.
